Food Review: Alici’s
Alici’s is a brunch spot in Tottenham which has been open for a least a year. You may have spotted it on your favourite food influencer’s feed. I went there last weekend for brunch with my friend to check it out.
As it was coming up to Valentine’s day it was suitably decked out in the theme.
You view the menu via a QR code, but you order as normal.
I went for the Classy Vegetarian (£13.95) with a side order of chips (£3.95).
The dish I had wasn’t ground breaking but it’s all about the quality and it was really good, especially the chips.
I then had a couple of cocktails. First up was the Honeycomb ( £12.95); AU Pineapple Vodka, honey, mango juice, simple syrup, lime juice topped up with Prosecco. This was a nice and refreshing cocktail.
Then I had the Blood Transfusion cocktail (£13.95) which def has the wow factor. This cocktail consists of Vodka, Candy bonbon strawberry, Strawberry Juice, Lime Juice, Granadine and Sparkling water. It was quite sweet but very strong. To be honest I could of have had 2 or 3!
The service was mixed; we got our bill before the food had arrived (turns out the bill was for another table) and we felt hurried even though there was plenty of seating.
Overall an ok experience, I would go back just for the Blood Transfusion Cocktail!
